Most complaints about airport transfers trace back to the same moment: the gap between landing and actually finding the car. Meet and greet service and live flight tracking exist to close that gap, and they are worth understanding before you book.
Curbside versus inside meet and greet
A curbside pickup means the chauffeur is waiting on the arrivals level when you come out of the doors. It is quick and it suits confident travellers with light luggage. An inside meet and greet means the chauffeur parks, comes into the arrivals hall and waits with a name board, then helps with the bags on the walk out. It costs more because it takes longer and involves parking, and it is worth it for first-time visitors, older travellers, families with young children and anyone arriving after a long-haul flight.
What flight tracking actually does
- The pickup shifts with the actual landing time, not the scheduled one.
- An early arrival is met early rather than left waiting.
- A diversion or cancellation is spotted before you have to explain it.
This is why we ask for a flight number rather than only a time. Without it we are guessing, and on an international arrival a guess can be an hour out.
Customs and baggage: the part nobody can promise
Clearing customs at Pearson can take a few minutes or considerably longer depending on the hour, the number of wide-body arrivals and whether you are selected for secondary inspection. Baggage delivery adds more. Any operator who guarantees a precise curb time for an international arrival is guessing. We build in waiting time and track the flight instead.
Practical things that help us find you
Give us the airline and flight number, the terminal if you know it, a mobile number that will be switched on when you land, and the number of passengers and bags. If your plans change in the air, message us as soon as you have signal.
Arranging meet and greet
Meet and greet can be added to any arrival. See our corporate and private airport transfers or our Toronto airport limo service, and tell us which you would prefer when you book.
