Moving eight or twelve people to the airport together is a different problem from moving one. Split the group across several cars and you get several arrival times, several fares and at least one person who ends up at the wrong terminal. A single larger vehicle solves most of that at once.
Matching the vehicle to the group
- SUV (Escalade, Yukon XL, Navigator) — up to about six passengers with moderate luggage.
- Mercedes-Benz Sprinter — roughly ten to fourteen passengers, with real luggage capacity.
- Party bus — larger groups where the journey is part of the occasion.
- Coach — corporate groups, conference delegations and wedding parties travelling together.
The honest constraint is luggage, not seats. A vehicle rated for fourteen passengers will not carry fourteen large checked bags as well. Tell us the bag count and we will size it properly.
One pickup or several
Groups rarely start in one place. We can run a short circuit of two or three addresses before heading to the airport, which usually works well if the stops are reasonably close together. Once the pickups spread across the GTA, two vehicles often beat one long loop. We will say which we think is better for your situation.
Corporate and conference groups
For delegations arriving on the same flight, a Sprinter waiting at arrivals gets everyone to the hotel in one movement. For departures, a single vehicle means the team arrives together and checks in together. It is simpler to manage and simpler to reconcile on an expense report.
Weddings, tours and sports teams
Group airport work also covers wedding parties heading off on honeymoon, touring crews with equipment, and youth teams travelling with coaches and gear. Equipment cases and instruments need to be declared in advance so we can allocate the right capacity.
