Valentine's Day in Toronto is a night of fixed reservations and short seatings. Restaurants run two sittings, tables are held to the minute, and February weather does not cooperate. Transportation is what keeps the evening on schedule.
February in Toronto is the complication
Snow, freezing rain and slush are all realistic on the night. Walking several blocks from a parking space in formal clothes is not the start anyone wants. Door-to-door means arriving as you intended to look, which on this particular evening is most of the point.
The reservation is not flexible
Restaurants that normally hold a table will not on February 14, because the next seating is already booked. That makes the drive the one variable worth controlling. We plan the pickup to land you at the door a few minutes early rather than exactly on time.
Ideas beyond dinner

- Theatre or a concert in the entertainment district.
- A winter evening in Niagara, with the falls illuminated after dark.
- A quiet route through the city with no destination at all.
Arranged in advance, quietly
If you are planning a surprise, tell us. Flowers in the car, a particular playlist, a specific route past somewhere that means something. These take a sentence to arrange in advance and are impossible to produce at the door. We will keep confirmations discreet if the evening depends on it.
